That's fine, I just hope you practice shooting indoors without ear protection. Personally I don't rely on police response. I want to be as effective as possible for as long as possible. But to each his own.

Im with you on not relying on police response either. I don't intend on letting an intruder live through the experience if I have my way. My wife's go-to is the shotgun, mine is my 1911 and/M&P9. My hearing is already crap from construction work and years of shooting, so not much we can do about that now. I've been debating on getting a suppressed handgun, but I'm still on the fence.

I saw that Smith and Wesson 945 in there and got excited I wanted some first hand experience with it
