Hey guys, I have several Nikon scopes and love them, but one has developed a problem. The up/down adjustment knob on top has stopped working. It just freewheels and nothing happens. I think I remember Nikon stopped making rifle scopes, but do they still work on them? What can I do? Thanks, Wallacem

Sig took over the buckmasters line, so if it's one of those id reach out to them.
I also think I remember crimson trace acquiring parts of Nikon
It probably wouldn't hurt to reach out to Nikon.
I really hated that they stop producing rifle optics...I loved their products.

Yeah contact them they should have the parts to repair it.

I know it's not the same brand but you listen to this and it might give you a little incentive to try.

I have a early 80's / Late 70's Bushnell on my father's 700 BDL he left me. It has a BDC turret on the top. It's a dial in 50 yards increments designed for 30 calibers. The cap and turret with the tape fell off and was lost. A few years ago I called and told them it fell off in the field. They ask me the model number and sure enough they had one. They sent me two of the repair packs absolutely free. A 43 year old scope and they still had parts. So don't discount that scope. Contact them because you never know what they might have in stock back there somewhere.
