Why not just be forward and ask for those things BEFORE someone comes to meet you?
Or not put "NO BOS" when you actually want to stalk/get to know who you sold something to.

Why not just ask the seller if he requires 1?

Because it is an option when you post something for sale.if the seller wants it, It is the sellers responsibility to make that known. Just like if the buyer wants a BOS it is the buyers responsibility to let that be known
