Thanks! I don't always win on auctions but I feel like I definitely won with this little beauty. The bluing is very rich and the bore was spotless. Times and locks up tight. Heavier than what I expected, but a really nice revolver!

Won't be mexican tucking this one in my gym shorts but it definitely still fits nicely in the pocket. Those pachmyers I want to get are a wee bit smaller than the OEM grips.

Everyone I know who actually carries a light weight 357 mag keeps it loaded with 38 spl or 38 +P

Need to donate the 357 ammo at the next M&G...

Although my .3* revolvers are all .357, I shoot .38's 80% of the time. I like the idea of being able to shoot both rounds out of the same gun. Besides, .38's out of a 6" heavy barrel is actually pleasurable!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned an SP101. I have a 3 inch that I keep loaded with 38 +P. I have some 357 lying around that I will send down range occasionally, but my practice and carry rounds are always +P. Accurate, good velocity, decent knockdown, and a lot less recoil than its big brother. Not to mention my SP101 is one of the sweetest shooting firearms I've come across.
