I agree with your NRA comment. But I question how you/we fight it.Here's my .02
I own machine guns. Both transferable and posties. I don't even own a bumpstock. (But I do have a STL file to print one if I so desire) I personally have owned a bump stock in the past. I just wanted to see if I could make it work on a S&W15-22. I did. And after that I grew tired of it and sold it. It was really more of exercise in making something not intended to work. All that said, I completely disagree with Trump and his ban on this. I vocalize at every attempt against the fudds out there saying so what. It's not a matter of fighting for a "gimmick part". It's a matter of fighting for the principal of things. Because come next tragedy, they'll say we don't need 30rd mags, or binary triggers, or VFGs, or pistol grips, or you name it. Eventually it'll get to a point that "no one needs a semi auto". Basically it's how to boil a frog. Just keep slowly warming things up.
