1. "Duty, honor, country" was added in the 1990s.
2. MacArthur was a pedofile, narcissistic, nut job whose true mission was personal glory. He wrote his own Medal of Honor recommendation! And his staff was a giant PR machine. Roosevelt put up with him because he didn't want McA to run against him as a republican in '44.
3. The "motto" has changed many times.
4. There are still a few good cadets going
5. There are also some commie bastards getting a free ride and
6. Ring-knockers still carry clout in the military.
