I bought this $32.00 tool on Amazon.
The reviews looked great so I figured I’d give it a try.
Holy freaking crap…..this thing works like a champ.
Usually half of the house , my hand, arm, shirt, hair , eyes and face are entirely covered even if I try to use a vacuum in one hand and a sander in the other when sanding joints or patches.
Not With this bad boy….not one freaking spec of dust…at all.

Best to use it in conjunction with a vacuum that will accept the internal bags .
I used a HEPA filter and a HEPA bag filter in the vacuum because I don’t want the wife and kids breathing anything in.
Plus when using the bag you barely get a spec on the normal filter anyways.

I’m super impressed and hope this thing lasts me a long time.

You have to use the sanding mesh screen and not the paper type so the vacuum will work through the screens.

I’m in love with this thing.

Been using one of those for nearly 30 years. Awesome tool. Be careful to limit the suction pressure to just what is needed (behind the handle) and don't sand perfectly straight with the grid/grain of the sanding screen or it will groove the finish.

Good price! FYI drywall is considered hazardous due to silica dust and not having a HEPA filter vacuum attachment is a OSHA violation for any business

Yep but I’m not doing this for customers.
All my carpentry work is for myself these days but yes it’s worth the extra money for good HEPA filters to protect yourself and others.
