No Scammers

Having just experiencing my first scam on ODT yesterday evening, I whole heartedly agree some tightening of security is warranted to help prevent scams.
However, I would urge caution in implementing measures based solely on volume of posts, trades, etc.
These would seem to place greater difficulty on newer members while trying to participate on the ODT site.
I believe a more stringent vetting process to be a better start to solving this issue.

NO selling allowed until 25 posts are made.

That's how they do it over on the AF1 Aprilia forums. No posting something for sale until you've made at least 10 (meaningful) posts, and no PM's until you've been a member for 6 months. works pretty damn well.

I get that, but we were discussing ways to get rid of scammers.

Instruct the mods to quit harassing us good outstanding members and our shenanigans and instead spend their time seeking and destroying scam accounts?

Admin, you should be able to create a list of keywords that automatically ban a post. Just use words from scam posts.
