No wonder I'm in pain

I know, I said I was out🙈🙉🙊 but I feel for you Brother. Had a big name Ortho/Neuro doctor that treat’s the Atl Braves tell me that “If any Doctor gives you more than a 50/50 chance of getting back to basic function after 2 failed fusions , they’re lying” . I figured that was the speech for poors like me , by their standards , after trying all the snake oil epidurals , a half dozen other injections, three years of PT & Chiropractors , 2 spinal stimulators , and meds meds meds that I’ve taken several breaks from (2-1yr and a few for 3-6 months = breaks I decided to take) . Finally found a natural herb that worked better on my back and legs and blood pressure ,but had to give my Low THC card back after threats of taking away 2A . Just example and experience , no pity party. Imagine that.. low (5%) THC is worse than Pharma heroine (Opiates/Opioids) LOL . If It hadn’t been for The Lord I wouldn’t be here.
My 2nd seems to be successful.

Got a little experience here. If you are feeling pain now, you are causing nerve damage. There can be some regeneration of damaged nerves, but the nerves can also be damaged beyond regeneration. Hope the best for you.

I am in the same boat my friend. Mine starts at the L5, the one above and the ones below. My hurts so bad my gonads hurt. Not a pleasant feeling. It feels like someone is pressing two bricks together with my balls in the middle..

My lower back, left hip and entire leg have been increasingly painful for most of the year. An X-ray this Spring indicated that there was a lot of arthritis, so anti-inflammatory meds and PT were prescribed, but PT only made things worse. With the help of my PT therapist I finally convinced my doctor that I needed an MRI, so I had the MRI two months ago

I endured two months of ever increasing pain and being out of work before I could meet with my neurosurgeon today. The bottom disc just above my tailbone is herniated in a big way, you can see it bulging way beyond the other discs pictured. The bulge is large enough to push on my central nerve and that's what is causing all of the problems.

What lies ahead for me. I have to deal with the pain for another month because she doesn't have an opening until mid December. 45 minutes of outpatient surgery will be followed by a full month of doing as little possible... I hope to resume limited work sometime February.
