Noisy tree stand

Hello everyone. I been hunting out of a summit viper and it noisy as all get out. When climbing it’s really loud and Carrying on back in woods it’s noisy. The metal be making a clanking sound . It’s a very comfortable stand just loud as hell. Anyone else have this problem with there summit? I want a bigger summit like the titan to have more room but i just don’t know.

I have the summit sd viper. The only climber that is better for noise is the old man climber. I love both. The summit is my preferred climber but going in silent I go with the old man.

Agree on the Ol' Man stands. I haven't noticed any of my Summits being really noisy while climbing. When I tote them in I use bungee cords so both sections stay nested and in place and don't clank together.

I’ve also got a viper and really like it, haven’t noticed it being noisy. The only thing is the way it goes together for carrying, does clank a little sometimes taking it apart to put on tree

I wrap all of my stands in electrical tape and then spray paint them camo. It helps with the noise. When youre packing it, sinch them tight together with zip ties or just tape.

Does yours clank while climbing? Because mine does. I ever sprayed it with the bed liner spray paint to help it

hell everything is clanking. I have it strapped tight walking in it’s noisy and when I climb it noisy. I’ll try to take a video of it. In the morning thanks
