Never ever ever pay more than 200 for an SKS. That is a rule I live by. They just aren't worth any more to me.

Before Clinton a Norinco went for $90-100 at the gun stores out west.
A paratrooper was about $110 and a russian was about $120-130 if it had a laminated stock.

I know a guy who bought a crate of them around 2000 for $80 each. He just finished unloading them for anywhere from $375-500 each. Over 10 years, he more than quadrupled his money. Not a bad investment indeed!

Either way, I wouldn't want one. Not my cup of tea. I have four friends that have them and they spend half of the time at the range clearing jams. They always blame it on the mags. I prefer something more reliable. I'm sure that pissed someone off..............

Not to mention the totally ineffective cartridge they use that every military in the world has abandoned.
