You can get a new 75C for less than $500. I got this one at AO for $449 I believe. The grips I got from a gentleman named Hakan Pek. He is from Norway and makes custom grips for CZ's, Dan Wessons, and 1911s. IIRC, I paid $95 shipped for these (Flame Ambione)

I have a feeling I may have one of these in the next few months

Check the type of powder used. Lol it was joke that no one picked up on a while back. It has a rotating firing pin system that dates back a while.

that gun needs some more tlc so it can serve you even more years of service but the gun sounds like it performed admirably under the conditions or is the rust looking tip just cosemtic
but those guns do well
