Rookie sting numbers here. I got stung 40 times while doing a fence repair that set off a large ground nest just a few feet away. Tempo dust works, gasoline, diesel and lots of other nasty stuff. I hope it hurts the whole time the little bastards are dying. ****ing useless creatures. make something that easts other bugs without a stinger.

Those things are the devil. I got setup next to an underground nest at work and they went swarming. The animal handlers tried putting some kind of powder on the nest opening to calm them down, got stung for their efforts. When nobody was looking the medic dumped about a quart of gas in the hole and put a piece of track mat over it. Not sure what happened after that.

When you are allergic to them like I am….you dread the first sting !!
It isn’t the sting that bothers me ….. it is the shots I have to have afterwards, if I get stung - Lol !
That is like getting stung all over again but worse !

Not carry one unless I am going to be further than an hour away from home. But I usually keep one around during spring/summer anyway. It’s just Epinephrine

If you can’t get to the shot you can take like 8-10 of those epi tablets ……I’ve been told. But I don’t like to think that an option !! lol
I just would rather have what I’m supposed to have !

I have to take like 3 shots if I get stung multiple times is what they say but I have been lucky the last few years and haven’t gotten stung but once and the one shot worked fine.

Got hit 17 times on a Wendsday afternoon while cutting a creek bank. Roasted their axx's with a gallon on gas that night. That following Saturday morning, while cutting another creek bank about 50 yards away, 19 more popped me. Thank God I'm not alergic, just vindictive! I keep plenty of full gas cans available in the shop, for just such an occasion. I've been hit so many times in my life, the stings don't even hurt anymore. It just pizzes me off now.

I was bush hogging a fence line a while back. My buddy was following up behind me with the weedeating the base of every post. I ran over a bumble bee nest and they took off after my buddy. I guess the weed eater was noiser than the tractor. Buddy got hit about twenty times. I saw him running across the pasture when I turned the corner. He was shucking the weed eater and harness. I didn't have a clue what he was up to.

Wonder you haven't turned allergic. I've been stung a few times too
