Yes that is true. Even if the $300 deal is no more I might just do the installment plan.
Called them. Typo. Tried to do the $500, they wanted $600. Just renewed for a year. After so many years of membership, I would have thought they would have a better offer.

Regular life membership is $750. So you were offered a $150 discount. And as stated before, you can get the life membership on $25 monthly payments.
In my recent renewal package I went of the 5 years for $100. I just didn't have the cash at the time to go for life but I will eventually.
$300 deal was a mistake and no longer offered. I signed up for the $500 Life Membership this morning for $25 a month payments. Already have confirmation and the charge has hit my account. Going to $1500 in January according to the website.
