NRA Show Glock Announcement - Official Guessing Thread!

LOL. First one in a while that blew backwards compatibility. Multi backstraps...who cares? RTF2? 3? bleh. Gen 4 was change for the sake of change, Not for the sake of any real improvement.
I totally disagree with you. The grip texture, dual recoil spring, improved mag release, and back straps are what made me love Glock. I prefer Gen 4 over all other Gens now.

LOL. I had a Gen 4 but had to get rid of it....bleh. Was clashing with my Gen 3's. LOL.

At least we can agree on one thing... Glock.

Yeah. If I Hadn't had 5 Glock 27's in Gen 3 and the ONE gen 4 it might have been better. But my whole outlook on the Glocks in volume is interchangeability. That's really why I had to get the odd man out.

I agree. The biggest difference is recoil. The dual recoil spring alone makes all the difference. I like the Gen 3 and that's all I have at the moment, but I prefer the Gen 4.

Do any of you have an aftermarket steel guide rod in your Glock(s) and does it make any difference other than durability? I'm wondering if it changes anything for the better, or worse. Not that I do not believe the factory guide rod is durable...It must be. I've never had one fail after countless thusands of rounds.

Don't waste your money on aftermarket guide rods. The stock one is just fine.

That's what I'm thinking...I've never added any mod to any Glock, except an aftermarket conversion barrel. That's different, though.

I mod the **** outta the trigger in my Glocks. But i have a certain preference in a trigger on my Glocks and it works for me. Outside of that, everything else is stock.
