what is weird is that I called 2 weeks ago to check on the Form 1 efile that they turned around in 27 days and they told me it would be six months so I was quite shocked when I got the email approval.

I know I'm whining. But I don't understand why they have form 2's online, but not form 3's and why that's so backlogged with e-forms. That's like saying, sure poor more hay on the stack while I look for that needle.

Also why should there be any delay in form 3's more than 2-3 business days. By my reasoning, all they're doing is taking the form, confirming the FFL's and SOT's being up to date, then updating the registry. Seems like in this day and age, that should be almost automated.
