Hi folks! First post in this thread, I've read it all over the years and I don't remember this book being mentioned before but I might have forgotten...

The Death of Money by James Rickards. It's not a doomsday book like it sounds but a very complete (and sometimes dense) overview of world financial systems. It particularly focuses on central banks and their goals for monetary controls and inflation. I highly recommend it. It's available on Audible so that's how I've been passing my commute.

I haven't quiet finished it yet but I don't hesitate to recommend it. Particularly anybody that wants to understand what the central banks are doing and how inflation/deflation is created and works through the system.

Ok, so if/when it does hit 50 where would you sell? also are collectors pieces affected by spot price?

Nobody can tell you when, but it is inevitable. Sell at any coin shop...or ODT.

If it is a collector grade, get it slabbed through PNC or NGC so the grade is there and there is no squabbling over whether it is a MS-61 or MS-64. Some Morgans that is a huge difference.

I've got one collector worthy morgan and a bunch of silver coins (junk silver?) is this a good time to sell? if so is there any place in ga someone with experience could recommend? thanks

Man- I saw that dip and new the Feds were raising today and silver would go up but under twenty it's a steal. Everyone makes fun of me for my piratey Waze but I was at a goldsmith yesterday using one sentimental stone and a good bit of scrap I got for pennies on the dollar by paying people 5% more than the cash for gold folks do- out the door for under a grand and no one will have anything like it
