1. Comfort- Make sure it's a got a comfortable seat you won't mind being in for hours and that it has plenty of smart room. Smart room meaning imagine yourself doing whatever kind of fishing you're doing and what you will need to do it. Then make sure you can move around or put stuff in the places you'll need to to make your trip enjoyable and not a constant battle to reach and store equipment. SMART.

2. Durability and Function- There are many different yaks out there at many different prices. Like most things the more your spend the better your yak (In most cases). They all look the same quality in the store so don't be fooled do your research. Waiting and saving a extra $300 bucks will make a huge difference in the quality of materials used to build your yak. Make sure the yak is functional to the type of fishing you're wanting to do. Size and shape make a huge difference. If you like standing a lot while you fish you will want a wider yak. If you plan on covering a lager body of water you will want a longer slender yak and so forth.

cool, thanks man! im just looking at pond fishing with it right now, live right next to tribble mill park lol. maybe do a float trip down the hooch if i feel froggy and a with a few people lol. hoping one pops up on here next weekend for cheap.

ill make sure not to bring my keys/phone and have everything tied down for my first time out lol, i expect ill be going in the water a few times haha.
