If this is the same article I read he did not have a permit to carry a firearm in public.

WOW, he consented to the search. It also appears that caryring without a license is enough to get a warrant to search your home. Where they find LEGAL but EVIL items and it's news worthy. 8 guns oh my. Funny thing is, this is my mom's fear with my father having so many shotguns and rifles. She is afraid if something ever happens she will be in the papers as the one with "weapons in the home". Wierd.
