Okay I want a MAC again

I paid $175.00 for my select fire MAC 10 45 in the early 70s and had to pay $200.00 for the stamp. In those days you could buy a Walther MPL SMG for less than $100.00. After the ban on new MGs went into effect in 1986 the prices skyrocketed.

If they get a ban thru on semiautos expect the prices of the ones in circulation to skyrocket. It sure happened with the MGs.

I used to have an open bolt RPB MAC 10 several years ago. It was a neat firearm but felt like a brick with a handle. I ended up trading it for a Colt SP1 Carbine. Anyway, the BATF banned production of these in the early 80s because they were easily converted to full auto but the ones already owned were grandfathered.. So if you ever see one of the old open bolt guns at a good price, snatch it up. They bring a pretty hefty price nowadays.
