Is that the one referred to as the Captain Willard with the big cushion style case and 4:00 crown? It was worn and made famous by Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now. Cause I really want one of those.

I had a Wenger Swiss Army in the late 90s. But I just assumed that Swiss Army had licensed the name to two different companies and that Victorinox was the higher end company.
Quality wise, they were on par, but Victorinox was the larger company with deeper pockets... Some of the knives sold by Vic today, are still the older Wenger model knives made in their Delamont plant, not the Vic plant...
Both of them make fantastic knives... And Vic has amazing watches, but I have high hopes for the Wenger... We shall see!
There are about 4 different MACVSOG Seikos. I do not know if this is the same Apocalypse Now watch. But there’s a good chance it could be.

Well, it was supposed to be guaranteed delivery Monday but it made it to Atlanta Sunday and hasn't shown any movement so I will be requesting a refund. Not sure if it's just the shipping amount or if it includes what I paid for insurance. At this point I wouldn't care if it just gets lost and I get paid for the amount insured. ****ing USPS man...
Got to play with the Wenger Seaforce chronograph this morning, been wearing it all day, mostly like it so far...
Just ordered this one, should be here Sunday. Built like a tank. Actually, one of the endurance tests was running over it WITH a tank. 300M water resistance and other crazy tests they put this through...

I really don't think my bezel or crystal was scratched. The crown, I can't say but I don't believe it was. But they're covered under the service anyway. But they say the case was scratched...I really don't think it was. The caseback I know had a good scratch in it. Wasn't given an option of opting out of replacing the case. But hey, it's only money right? **** it. Paid. Now I guess I wait 3-4 months.
