AP Royal Oak, (3) Rolex Daytonas, Rolex Yacht Master & Breitling Avenger. I wear my Omega Speedmaster “Dark Side of The Moon” more than any of them.
how do you like the AP and 2 tone Rolex? I've not gotten to see those in person yet but I'm leaning towards getting a gold watch over the next few years.

A neighbor has that "AP" in yellow gold but in seeing it, the clasp is stainless so pretty sure it's a fake.

I love all my watches. They are more investment related for me than anything. I rarely wear them, except for my Speedmaster DSOM. However, I have worn them all for certain occasions.

You do realize that guys "watch collection" he posted was worth well over $500,000/$750,000 ?? Like, I'm not saying they're fake but that's a lot. I've inherited a few watches from family members (Paul Newman Rolex, presidential factory diamond bezel rolex,Pepsi Rolex & my favorite G-Shock. I can't take a Rolex hunting or fishing and beat the heck out of it... I can roll over my G-Shock with a tank and I as well as the watch will be A OK. I'll post pics but dang that dudes stuff is serious names in the watch industry!!

Yeah, something about late 60s and 70's style watches... They appeal to me and not sure why. I was born in 72, so it's not like I remember much of the 70s... I consider myself an 80s child... but the styles and fashion in the 80s was so... ghey.... lol
I'm a year older than you and pretty much see it the same way. Only thing I don't dig about 70s style watches would be those big wide leather Bund style straps. They're ugly and look like they smell like a wet dog in the summer. Hell I've had nylon straps that I would have to take off and scrub with Dawn and a brush of just out them in the wash in a net bag.
But I do dig the 70s cushion style cases. Timex has a new retro style that I believe is an automatic. Only problem with that is how much do you really wanna pay for a Timex? Still looking hard at the retro Falcon Eye though.

Umm. There are much larger collections, even amongst my circle. Some in the $3M range. I dabble.

StampsInk9mm StampsInk9mm yeah I know. In high school I was the only guy I knew who spent the whopping sum of $200 on a watch. As a young professional I was the only guy I knew who had a $3,000 watch. I'm most recently the only guy at work with a $5k, and working on one that costs more than my truck is worth. I see how if you're into this and professionally successful it's not an unreasonable thing to spend money on. A few years ago I would have thought that was crazy, but the $200 watch in high school and $30k watch now are proportionally the same % of my net worth.

CCW CCW that's cool, thanks for sharing them. I want a solid gold sub or similar to be an every day watch honestly. I'd beat the hell out of it.
