Was looking through some old photos I have of stuff my Grandpa collected. These are stuffed in a book back in Utah. I know I can look online but I know there's a few on here that were minted around the same time and could tell me a little bit about them.

I hate to say this, but the vast majority (well over 90%) of those bills are counterfeit. Both from the Civil War era as well as modern times to fool collectors.

But they are awesome pieces!

Is there an easy way to tell if they are counterfeits?
