Old Sword - Need help with info

Hey ODT,

My father-in-law got this sword from a garage sale and is hoping to learn something about it. It has the words Toledo and made in Spain. I'm waiting to hear from him what the blade length is. Any info/insight is appreciated. Thanks.

Look for a maker’s mark on the blade near the hilt. The engraving on the blade doesn’t mean much... to me it looks stamped rather than engraved.

Souvenir sword from Toledo Spain probably made in the 70s they go for about a hundred bucks on eBay

The hilt looks like a rapier, but the blade seems too heavy.

I’ve got almost the exact same one, rimfireguy is right... my parents bought it in Toledo as a tourist gift. They are still pretty cool and the city is known for sword blacksmiths, but it’s a tourist thing.
