Old you giving young you firearms advice...

Probably can't beat the returns on some machine guns (Colt M16 in 1985 = $1,000, now $35K) but the lowly $69 Lee Enfield No4 MK2 at Roses in 1994 is now about $2,000 in the mummy wrap, $1,200 out. That's a fair appreciation in value if you ask me. Consider a $1,000 in 1985 is worth about $2,800 today and $69 in 1994 is $133 in today's money and the appreciation is astounding. Or, it's just a fluke of people paying too much and supporting the evil profiteering flippers on here!

I would have spoken to my grandfather about his collection of guns and asked him if he would place it in his Will that I could pick one of his guns when he passed away. When my grandfather died his wife at that time did not ask any of the family and that included his own 5 children, my aunts and uncles. His wife gave them all to some friend who then refused to sell any to the family. I just wanted a gun that belonged to him and it could have been a BB gun. Take another look at your Wills fellas.
