It's funny how frequent this came up. But solid advice.
I won't dig into specifics (like buy all the crates of 20x WASRs for 2k classic arms used to sell in 2007) but I will say to continue to buy what's on tap (cheap at the time) and to be patient and not force buy and end of paying out the a$$.
Don’t use all those hydra shocks and black talons to chop down pine trees. Buy all those $350 k frames you see. Don’t put your hands where you wouldn’t put your pecker. Buy that dillon now! You do not need a 7mm stw stupid! Don’t sail any guns to friends.
respectfully I disagree. That same $1,000 invested in the stock market in 1985 would be worth ~$230,000. So if you bought the gun you'd have an old ass gun. If you bought stonks you'd have enough money for the gun and a house. While guns are sometimes an appreciating asset, they are not always.
it's similar to baseball cards. those were worthless! they gave them away with gum. they are only worth money cause moms eventually throw them out, kids become nostalgic for them, have real money, and spend stupid money to try and buy back their youth.
Buy one gun a month, eat more PB&J sammichs so I can invest in more weaponry

Don't trade/sell off your vintage Colt and S&W revolvers for new wonder nine autos.
Buy less guns but better quality of the few and more ammo and training.
