Not jealous of the quality of food they eat, I can afford better, the fact that I don't squander my money frivolously is because my bills and responsibilities come first

Ever been in the grocery at the express line and noticed the folks ahead of you splitting everything into 3 purchases? Those would be WIC, EBT, and non-approved items such as alcohol you have to pay cash for. Sometimes the fast lane isn't very fast.

When I lived in rural NC it was a frequent occurrence. Hardly ever deal with it now.

Just a observation while the subject is ebt cards and government handouts. I have been doing 99% of my shopping at Aldi for the past four years and I have never seen EBT or WIC used in the store. When I used to shop at Publix and Kroger EBT and WIC were the norm.
