I wanted to try one of these inserts, but the problem I've found is that the inserts available are fairly short at around 10" - and none that I've found were rifled. The accuracy would have to be terrible.

A pump 20 gauge would work for me ...
If all I had was a slingshot, I would starve to death.
Do you want to keep your left nut, your right nut, your thumb or your left eye? Would be an easier question to answer.
If ammo weight were not a factor I would say 12 ga. or 20 ga., but since it would be a factor I would go with a smaller caliber rifle...22 lr is good and ammo more common than 22 mag, but with a good supply of ammo I would choose 22 mag any day.
I'm very glad to see the Hi-Point carbine in this thread. They are very dependable and accurate. Never had one fail on me are a blast to shoot. Seems like 22lr and 12 ga are the common answer. mine would prob. Be a 22lr/mag also.
