I saw that video and the guy was like "bruh don't do me like that,give me my gun back".. I'm like well,ya had it out and thugs were around. If you can't quick draw from UNDER your clothing then practice.. I get it, it's our right to carry but damn...he made it too easy

Its hard to imagine a group of gun lovers being upset by the sight of a gun but here we are. Would it bother you if he had a badge? Of course not.

Agreed, hard to always know who may or may not be on the job. Let’s be honest, most folks on here like to talk out of their ass and whether open or concealed carry, they’d be so slow to the draw (due to lack of practice/training) that they would be nearly useless in a gun fight. Stealth is a tool no doubt, but proper training is more important and trying to judge a book by its cover has gotten many a man killed. I’m sure Mike Vining would look like an easy target to many.

You are missing the point . NO gov’t wants to allow guns. Open carry is a very powerful statement.

I ran a bush hog several hours the other day. I open carried while doing it. Of course, there was no one out there. Years back, we had some (semi?) feral dogs in the area. A couple of them ran at me once back then, aggressively, while I was doing tractor work, and I drew my pistol. Between me being slow and some instinct in those dogs they turned and bolted as soon as they saw the pistol, as I brought it up. Have not seen those dogs in years. I assume someone shot them. Glad I didn't need to. Anyway, I will open carry for stuff sometimes but not out in public. To each his own.
