OPSol Mini Clip 2 with Mossberg 500 - Problem

I guess that I am a little late to the party, but I just purchased and installed an OPSol on a Mossberg 500 and tried it out with a box of Aguila minishells.

The OPSol worked fine.

However, I noticed that the bolt was NOT locking-up when I chambered a round - the "Action Lock Lever" stayed in the depressed position. I removed the OPSol, and there were NO changes with the problems while I had a minishell chambered.

I removed the minishell and chambered a regular size shell. The shotgun/bolt/action lock lever all worked as intended.

So the issue is with the minishells that I have. Have any of you experienced or heard of this issue with the minishells?

I’ve got a Maverick 88 with OpSol. All I’ve run in it is mini-shells, never a problem.

Wouldn’t think so, but probably wouldn’t hurt to compare the rims to some standard shells.
Maybe somebody else has experienced this?

I had compared rims of the minishells with the Federal full size shells.
The Federals have a slimmer rim.
