I just caught the part about not wanting a scope.....I have had several of the dot sights and all of the glass was pretty crappy and the had a small field of view. The last one was a Vortex and it came with a crappy 3x magnifer that was a joke. Only dot sight I would consider would be a Cmore or a Aimpoint.
