I am considering going the route of just internet with Comcast, VOIP for phone and an OTA antenna for tv... Anyone have a similar set-up and any recommendations on OTA antennas? I am sick of paying $200+ per month for the bundle...

I'm in Smyrna and I get about 40 channels OTA... buy only about 10-15 are worth watching.

I use a standard antenna on the roof. I've also used antenna in the attic. The frequency for digital channels is in the same range as analog. You don't need a "digital" antenna any more than you'd need a 'designed for water' cup.

Take a look at http://antennaweb.org for information on where transmitters are and where to aim your antenna.

I built a db4 myself from a 2x4 and 12 ga house wire. Works good for most channels. Get about 12-15 channels with it and we are kind of in a hole.
Google db4 or look at YouTube.

I picked up this for 34.99 from home depot and works great in my house. My house is prewired and conected to the outside of the house and it feeds 4 tv without an issue. The most important thing to look at is your location and your antenna placement and which direction you aim it. Go to tvfool.com and plug you address and it will show you where you will need to aim the antenna for best reception. Good luck. I am enjoying not having to pay cable anymore.

This is absolutely true. And with a good high def TV, it's amazing the detail you can see in the shows at main stations. If you can find an inexpensive omni-directional antenna, you can pull in even more channels, vs the directional ones like Royred and I have (I'm in Smyrna too!). Mine is in the attic.
