Yep...you can ship pistols through Fedex to an FFL...Just like selling on Gunbroker. You do not have to ship through an FFL to him.
Just have him find an FFL to receive it near him and ship it UPS to the FFL.

I was under the impression he was selling face to face.
Okay....better, IMO....a BOS doesn't have to cite which state the sale was made to my knowledge...coulda been here, coulda been there...I was under the impression he was selling face to face.

Yes. But it is still and option available the USPS or UPS doesn't give you....SUPER expensive as a private seller, they make them go next day air if you aren't an FFL.
Right. That is why it is best to keep it all legal. CYAThanks for the quick response. I know there's not a registry so that may have not been the best choice of words, but if I sell it to him and he goes and uses it in a crime, they can run the serial and see that I bought it, right?
I remember you posted this before. IIRC, you gave them the info on how you sold/traded it and the story was done, right?I got a letter recently from Maryland State Police...A Taurus pistol I bought BN but later sold on ODT is now in their possession.

This is the reason most people want to glance at your DL when making a deal. Because most are aware that it is not legal for a non-licensee to sell a firearm to anyone who is not a resident of the same state as them (without an FFL transfer). As I stated earlier you can all do what ever you want. Makes no difference to me. I was just trying to give the OP a correct and legal answer.Okay....better, IMO....a BOS doesn't have to cite which state the sale was made to my knowledge...coulda been here, coulda been there...
