Pediatrician questions

When I was visiting/interviewing pediatricians before my daughter was born, one actually asked me if I had any weapons in the house....to which I replied "Why don't you ask me if I have any staircases or how many toilets in the house? Because if what you're implying is that guns are a danger in the same house where children are, then I will tell you more children die each year by falling down stairs or drown by falling headfirst into a toilet bowl. So I suggest that you not check anything off on your little form pertaining to that question, because whether I have a firearm in my home is none of your business."
He ignored me, wrote something in the form, and we walked out. Needless to say, he's not my daughter's doctor.
