People… people. Ar-15s from PSA are $350-400 again. STOP listing your used guns for $700. JUST. STOP.

I think he means price gouging "doesn't exist" because supply and demand exists. Both can be debated.
then he's correct. Price gouging doesn't exist HERE. We're all buying or selling our own personal property and are in know way representing any particular manufacturer or retail vendor criteria. Furthermore, literally everything for sale on the ODT is a want and not a need.

There's informed sellers and overly optimistic opportunistic idiots on here... but actual price gouging would take some real talent to pull off on ODT.

I believe price gouging absolutely exists.... but to call what someone wants for his Glock "price gouging" is laughable. Not even close. When there is 300 dudes selling a Glock for $500 and 3 guys selling the same pistols for $1200, it's not price gouging. It's either: A- someone who doesn't follow market trends or B-someone who's just silly.

Price gouging is charging $11.50 for a roll of toilet paper to the dude with dysentery
if that dude may decide needs it enough that he chooses to spend the money on **** tickets versus using his hand. That tp is a luxury.

What about the car lots that put addendum stickers on new cars for $1500 to $5K back during Covid? To ME that's gouging. But the difference is it's not like convenient stores charging $15.00 a gallon for gas after a hurricane because we NEED gas and have to buy it somewhere. You don't NEED a new Tundra at $2500 over MSRP. Nobody does. But they damn well did it and got away with it. Now a lot of them are going broke because I guess nobody told the new car lot guys that Covid is over.
BUT.... plenty of supposedly grown responsible adults went in and bent all the way over for those ridiculous prices. And that's their business and their right to do dumb ****. One of my old sales managers used to say "Don't get in the way of your customers buying decision." It's just a different version of "If your enemy is killing himself then stay out of his way."
It’s not their fault you can’t compete.

very true... but that's gouging. Wanting more than someone is willing to spend on my gun isn't price gouging. That's just another day on odt.

BUT, if you think about it further, is it really price gouging or is it just supply and demand. Example, gas. When there's shortage demand is up/ supply is low, therefore vendors raise prices. Could be called price gouging, buuut, demand. Or when an event is in town and hotels raise prices because rooms are low, gouging, maybe but demand is high. So on and on. Gouging or supply and demand. Regardless, I see these prices and I'm more irritated the the lil keyboard warriors won't let us call them out.

Price gouging can only exist on items you must have to survive... food, water, medicine.
Stuff you just want, but don't need, is free market and can be priced at the whim of the seller.

You all didn't NEED ammo during covid, you just wanted it. I'll bet that if I go check, I'll find everyone here defending the high prices were some of the people bitching about ammo prices. Make it make sense
