I helped a guy I work with when he bought a VP9 brand new. I was showing him how to disassemble it to clean it, and I couldn't get the slide back on. You really have to press down on the rear of the slide as you push it back on the frame because the fit is so tight. After about 12 attempts to put it back together, I was starting to think I had messed up his brand new pistol. The blog post contains almost no info. With the info available at this point, it might be a faulty spring on a single gun, or it could just as likely be that an officer (or two) stripped/cleaned his new weapon and put it back together wrong.
