Perfection?

I'm not sure how adding another slide release and a flared mag well would cause a proven weapon to all of a sudden become "junk".

Me thinks it's hype. Jacklegs probably didn't assemble the pistol correctly and are blaming the gun.

"Me thinks" they probably wouldn't have recalled them because someone incorrectly assembled one.

Glock didn't recall them, the police department did, just a note.

But again, how does a proven design (Glock 17) all of a sudden become a paper weight with the addition of a few cosmetic features and a new recoil spring design?

I don't think anyone suggested that they are suddenly paperweights, simply that they failed miserably in their initial release.
 
Regardless I still trust my 19.
