Can you engrave NFA items?
Tacky or not....busy or not....looks like this- looks like that....it dose not matter as long as it gets noticed. If people SEE it and can make an assessment in 1-2 seconds what kind of store it is and what you do, then it's a successful sign. The main thing is can somebody driving by at 45+MPH see it and tell what it is ? NWsharpshooter put it right.
All that crap being said, IMO it looks great. One suggestion, if you are going to do the credit card thing, put that on the door ...those little VISA/Masterbounce/American Distress signs? You need one of those... But that's petty crap. Good luck, I will be in for sure !
I'm quite positive that if he did not want opinions he would not have asked for opinions. See how that works? Nobody mentioned his work ethic, quality, etc. About 6 of you need to get laid.
Seriously?
I don't know man, cheap. I don't have a button, hell that reminds me I need to learn to use cash register before Saturday. Depends on what you want, I obviously have more wiggle room in services than most goods. I offer more services than goods anyway.
Cry me a river. His feelings arent hurt. Why are yours?A lot of people said it was busy, bland, tacky- but no one else told him his sign guy "failed miserably". That's not an opinion, thats an insult. See how that works?
Well, that's a decent answer the second time around. If you're going to advertise it, maybe you should figure out what you're offering first.
I'm advertising that there is one and it will, in fact, be there. It's hard to come up with a flat rate because the stuff you hear about overhead and mark up in a gun store is true. There is very little room to work if you want to be competitive and some of my stuff isn't marked up at all. This is part of why I wasn't originally looking to get into retail. I just want to offer the people close to me a place to get some things done. I don't even want a dealer badge on ODT because I was here before I was even thinking about being a dealer. I want ODT to be my old friend I can come to for advice like "are my windows tacky?". Stop picking on me Dunkel
Picking on you?
I asked a legitimate question about something you're advertising. Instead of giving your second answer or this answer, which would have been more than sufficient and probably prompted me to simply contact you on something I'm looking into, you decided to give a smart ass answer. If you don't have an answer, then say "I'm not sure yet, I'm working on it".
I get it. You don't know and you don't want to be pressed on it. Great, thanks.
