Looking at building another rifle soon. Wanting to go with a 16” barrel and a 17” handguard. Gonna put a flaming pig or suppressor on it. Anyone got any pics they can show?

Never thought about a 16" barrel hidden under a 17" handguard. However, since I keep a few spare parts and pieces, I quickly assembled a Sig M400 upper and barrel under a 17" handguard. Put on an A2 flash hider just to bring the barrel out to the end of the handguard. I don't have a flaming pig or 223 suppressor so my pic probably doesn't help. It does look a little awkwardly long and that would be exaggerated with the pig or suppressor.
I hope you either have a large handguard or very slim suppressor for everything to fit. I run 13" and15" handguards on 16" barrels suppressed.

Ha, not "built", just quickly assembled (no torque wrench, hand tightened only).
I was thinking the same thing. I know Spikes and Seekins make handguards with large ID but I dont know how long they come.
