Piedmont Macon hospital, any metal detectors?

Got to go to Piedmont Macon in a couple days for my wife to get an MRI. Are there any metal detectors set up at the entrances? Don't want to leave the ccw in the lockbox in the vehicle if I don't have to.

Thanks
I was there last year for some test. I didn’t carry as I was the one getting an mri but, there were no visible detectors at that time.

If you don't have first hand knowledge about the subject, kindly sit down and shut up and let the adults speak.

I am asking about any possible metal detectors and trying not to cause any delays with security or having to go back to my vehicle to secure the weapon and any added anxiety to my wife for her appointment as she is about to start a battle for her life, literally. Recently diagnosed with cancer, we are trying to get everything planned for her surgery and aftercare treatments.

As for you spouting off that I need to train more or learn non-leathal John Wick techniques, you have no idea who I am or what training I have. Just trying to maintain a level of personal security while visiting a ****hole city.
Some situations require you to man up and not carry.

I have no knowledge of the facility you’ll be visiting. I can completely understand thinking of every detail that could in any way impact your wife’s comfort during this time. That’s what a man does for those in his life.
Best wishes and prayers to your wife and you.

I can’t understand the “look at me” mentality and the “main character” puffing his chest out. Got both of the “ “ terms from my ten year old daughter. Seems appropriate.

Uh dude, read the post again. I said my wife has to get an MRI. I will be in the waiting room. I do know not to have anything metallic near an MRI machine.
Hey man, you never know. Just looking out.

I reached out to a friend in the area. To his knowledge, there are no metal detectors or security measures in place. You should be good to go. Despite what some in this thread have said, it's Macon. Jock up.

Prayers for you and your wife.

I have 1st hand knowledge so I won't kindly do so. I'm simply saying, relying on a firearm is not a go to plan, especially in this day in age. I am extremely empathetic to your situation as I have been dealing with thee hospital in more events than one regarding loved ones this year. Lost 1 of 3 so far, the other 2 made it out. As far as the peanut gallery, they can do whatever they want, low hanging fruit far as I'm concerned. You posted in an open forum, im replying, hospitals have rules dating back to the ww's, maybe further, of no firearms. Circumventing or trying is obviously up to you, but...don't count on it. Stay frosty bud.

Again, sorry for your situation Cap'. Just saying, your more adultness will get you through this. Like my sitting at this kids table got me through mine apparently. I wish you and yours a speedy recovery. Stay strong sir.
