This sucks. I live in Cherokee, but we have hiked Pine Log more times than I can count over the years. Bastids.

Man if I could live on 19,000 acres nobody would ever see me again. The locals would just warn the tourists about me. "Oh don't ever go over there. That's where the crazy hemit guy with all the guns lives. Legend has it that he hasn't even been to a Walmart in over 10 years."

I have read the reason the family is selling, is because the taxes have become unaffordable. We will be taxed to the point that only big business will be able to afford sizable tracts of land.
