Pistols to be reclassified as AOWs per military arms channel FB page

GOOOOO VOOOOOTTTTEEE!!!!!!!!! Maybe he can address this during his second term. HOWEVER, we all remember bump stocks.... still our best hope though.

So far this is all 100% speculation by a pretty-much unknown law firm about what the ATF *might* do in the future.

A bunch of YouTubers have jumped on it as click-bait, but the reality is that there is nothing but speculation at this point.

The only facts are around what has been discussed around the Q ATF letter.

You can bet the various brace companies, as well as the firearms manufacturers will be looking at this hard. After all, big companies like Ruger ship things with braces attached too, not just small companies like Q.

You're right, since it will potentially effect the BIG gun companies the NRA will jump to their defense by begging for our money to defend the big gun industries right to profit.

Like you, I'm not holding out much hope that the NRA is in any shape to do anything these days. According to the CEO of SB Tactical they put them in touch with some folks in Congress, but that's about it for them.

From the Q thread there's an industry group that seems to be spearheading it, and the Firearms Policy Coalition seems to be doing work on it as well. As usual, GOA is writing a few letters and claiming they are helping. I haven't seen anything around SAF, but they handle court cases and there's nothing to sue about yet.

You can bet any company that ships products with braces will be contributing one way or another though.
