Places to eat around Forsyth/Macon GA

Food wise, iv always just gone to the exit right past the Macon Bass Pro exit. Its Riverside Parkway and on one side you have the mall with various places to eat like Georgia Bobs BBQ and on the other is Cheddars, Hooters, and most of the fast food type places. As for Forsyth.....theres a Taco Bell and a Captain D's like 3 minutes from GPSTC but not exactly fine dining. The Walmart is pretty nice though. Ill be there for a week in May for some training as well and I usually just eat at GPSTC to avoid going out.

For alright fried chicken there's the big chick right down the road. The hooters down there is pretty good. Those were about the only places I went to eat while I was down there lol

H&H for meat and 3. Downtown Grill for a great steak and cigar. The Rookery for a good craft beer and damn good burgers. Nu-Way Wieners for a hot dog.

Buckner's off exit 201. Sit down country cooking with lazy Susan tables. Runs 14-16 bucks for all you can eat. Love their chicken and peach cobbler.

Fincher's BBQ in Macon USED to be good. But it's not worth going into the ****ty ghetto areas of Macon to eat there.

The better location is at Hartley Bridge Rd.

The Bear's Den next to Mercer for meat & 3
Papouli's on Tom Hill for a good Gyro and Curly fries
Finchers on Houston Ave for BBQ (unless you are scared of the ghetto)-(in that case don't go to Macon)
Ingleside Village Pizza for thick slice hippy pizza
Nu Way for a hot dog

Thanks for all the replies guys. Saw the big chic tonight as well as BBQ Jax. Will try both of those at some point. Will definitely try a few more that were listed here.
