I wanted a laser for my Ruger LCP.
So I bought one off eBay that's priced at a half of retail.
It never gets sent. And I get a refund.
a few days later I am in the local pawn shop and see an LCP with the exact laser I wanted. The awesome young lady behind the counter makes me a screaming deal on it so I buy the laser and LCP for only $25 more than the retail price of the laser.
I put the laser on my 10th Anniversary LCP and I am happy.....
Thst lasted until I realized that I have a firearm I don't have any real use for...
Eventually I figured I can trade the unwanted LCP for something I might find more useful. I check ODT and see there is an over saturation of cheap used plain jane pocket .380s
I do my happy dance because that means I get to freestyle with a refinish where the wilder it is, the more likely I am to move it
I start off by stripping the slide and doing a chemical case coloring.
I
Didn't like it so i stripped it and blued the slide
I happened to have some tiffany blue krylon so I hit the frame with a coat of primer and then 3 coats with the rattle can, and then 3 coats of high gloss lacquer.
Figured a two tone blue and high polish would look snazzy so I started stripping the slide again. This was my stopping point for now.
Will pick it up again after sunrise
