I would have more misgivings about dealing with anyone that thinks they've made an "investment" by spending a dollar for advertising than a free lister.

I can see that. Perhaps I'm not articulating what I want to say the right way because it's not coming off right. Either way I'm still gonna be a member and supporter and do the deals that I usually would. Maybe I could ease up a little on it, it's not everyone else's fault I got a couple a bad fish.

I’m in the ODT no matter what the OWNERS decision. He is the owner asking for a vote and thousands of viewers can’t respond. His decision is final and “that’s the bottom line!”

As to a buck a month, and nothing new for the payor of that buck.

I moved out of Mom and Dad's at 18. Up till then, room, board, utilities, even washing and ironing were pretty much free. Had to do some lawn maintenance, clean gutters, etc. --- but really, for what I got, I "paid" virtually zip.

Once I started paying for my own needs, what a wake up call !!! Had almost ZERO funds for socializing.....where I had had plenty just a month or two before. In fact, I was lucky to have enough for a burger and a beer out once a week.

Folks, it's a buck. Likely it will happen. And you will get what you got before, nothing more, but also nothing less.

Better deal, by a wide margin of cost, than when you first went out on your own, almost certainly.

I like the fact the site is free if you were to charge I’d probbibly just look I do prefer this over say armslist or craigslist which I can use for free I say keep the ads they’ll never go away that is how you fund a lot of stuff any way. Good question is how many supporters compared to nonsupporters.

Its the too many people that make money for the site cause people advertise on this site because of it.

Is this a secret ploy to make a lot more supporters so if he sells the site to someone it will be worth a lot more money ???

About 72,000 registered members at $10 a year your looking at over $700,000 a year. That is a lot of money for keeping the site afloat
