It would definitely kill the site. People aren't going to care how much it costs.. Especially new or prospective members. As soon as they have to pull out a card it's over for probably 80% of people. There goes any chance of finding a deal , and before you know it it's only a handful of Loudmouth's selling $1000 glocks and playing grabass...oh wait.

Well, being a government conspiracy paranoid gun owner, I will say, if there is a fee and thus a record of having paid the fee, I will not participate. I just do not like my name recorded anywhere that it does not have to be.

I like the site, and get more enjoyment out of the non sales areas than the sale areas. So, I would stick around for the non fee based forums.
