I like the idea that you need to be a supporter period to be part of the giveaway day. I think that is the best possible supporter drive that you could ever have!!!!
By the way, that is coming up pretty soon, if you do that you might not need to charge the $1 per month because the supporters that the proposed drive would bring in would take care of any down turn on revenue from ads or whatever else.

I’m not sure what other outlet people would use to sell their firearms locally for free. Charge the $ and don’t look back. I’ve used most all of the other options and they’re either sketchy or cost substantially more $.

When I first came to the site, if I saw that I had to pay, I probably wouldn't have come back. Now that I know the place and enjoy the ads and banter, I would gladly pay.

I can't imagine having the nerve to call out someone's pricing. None of my business how much somebody asks for their stuff. Either they'll figger it out or be doomed to keep running it out there like some I've seen over and over, same chit, same price since i've been on the site (and I was a lurker for about a year before I "jined up"). How hard is it to ignore overpriced items?

As has been stated by several people, it floods the forum with crap deals, making it harder to find the few that are actually good deals.

One man's crap deal may be another man's unicorn. Have you never paid too much for an item because you really wanted it? Or maybe that's just me and the reason I'm always broke.

Again, negative comments in classified are not going to be allowed. Like Okuma said it was probably rule #1 when the site started.

Or defending your ad against negative comments, will be allowed.
