I love the idea of giving site supporters first crack at all new listings for 24 hours. That would bring in a good bit of revenue

Just like the other Georgia based web site? I'm still not a member.

I think it hurts the seller, more than the buyer.

This is a multifaceted thread. Why not require those who want to post classifieds be a member? Other non supporters can peruse, comment and buy but to list one has to be a member. Seems simple to me but I am listening to Skynard right now....lol

I take advantage of featured listings occasionally. I like that feature and don’t mind paying a small fee for the visibility on my ad.

$1 per ad would be ok with me, I just don’t want to pay to goof around browsing if I choose not to list anything for a while.

However, if you charge $1 per as you’re going to get those people who list a whole collection in one ad. I can’t be alone in hating those ads.
