Every business/service has to have a “revenue stream” to survive and provide product and users have to pony up a bit to “keep the store open “.
Nothing in life is 100% free and no one in real life can provide everything for us out their own time and money day after day forever.........
If each of us did not have a revenue stream , we could not not provide products for our own family..food, medical, clothing, housing etc.....maybe different components but same principles apply.

No revenue stream = no site eventually

I would be inclined to pay if the mods quit deleting my reasonable posts as they did this morning. You want more revenue and harmony, quit with the Gestapo tactics. I'd post several adds a month for my reloading items that I now sell elsewhere, and I would still be a supporter. This truth will be short lived on the board since only echo chamber responses are allowed by the propaganda ministers.

My main problem with the paid ads is the hassle of filling out the forms for payment. I would rather pay to be a supporter and not hassle with the paid ads. Either way, I won’t cry if it goes that way. I’ll still be a supporter.
