I may be wrong but I believe what is being proposed is ....

Just as we do now, you can have a TOTAL of 5 ads running at any one time, across the classifieds. Five TOTAL, not per section.

You can bump any/all ads up to twice a day, per ad

Ads can be renewed/relisted every 72 hours, for as many times as you like, and can be edited at any time.

You can let an ad go dormant, but its better to mark it gone, if you want to take it off market for a while.

For that, you pay a buck a month, or you can become a Supporter, and that cost to you is covered already by being a Supporter, IOW Supporters pay 15/year and nothing extra.

Posting rules and limits would be the same for all, and not change from the present.

I think that is at least close.

You forgot the part where all the old time supporters still dont win on giveaway day. That is a must.

It's 5 ads per category, per day, and relisted ads DO count toward the 5 in a category.

It’s not the $1 a month or $10 per year - I’m sure we all waste that on random junk anyway.

It’s that you are going to lose those people that haven’t posted something in a year and want to trade or sell something they find in their gun safe.

Good bye spur of the moment sales that will now end up on arms list for free (because ya easy) or gun broker because if they have to go through the trouble of paying they might as well be posting where they will get the most money - gun broker.

New members will not increase as easily becaus no one wants to pay to try a site out when they can sell for free on other sites or not pay until it sells or however it works.

I was a supporter at one point - then I spent a year over seas and let it lapse.

I would be willing to become a supporter again but I didn’t see a big benefit.

Maybe more benefits to supporters or just advertise those more / better.

If you become a supporter they wont ban you or give you points for joking with friends............oh wait........I was wrong. You get a little tab that shows up on computers but not mobile and you get to hang out in the loser's lounge on giveaway day. Totally worth 15 bucks.
